Today did not allow for any procrastination! I had to be up early to put my Meera Sodha Tomato Tart together and into the oven, clean the kitchen and get showered and hair washed before 9am, when I planned to leave for yoga. Bucketing down with rain again. Hmm things didn’t go quite according to plan as the kitchen clock had decided to go slow and I kept wondering how on earth I had so much time in hand…. a mad dash and I got there just in time and remembered to bring clothes to change into for my Cathedral duty at 11am. Too much chat afterwards and I was running to get there before anyone noticed I was late. Good thing I dashed as the guide doing the actual tour hadn’t turned up, so I had to stand in for him. Wonderfully fun group from Salford Art Group who were visiting Pallant House in the afternoon. Then a dash back home and luckily Caroline, Sara and Christine had only just arrived. While the tart was in the oven warming we had a debrief of how the morning in front of the SDNPA panel went. Fingers crossed for success! A possible £5000 grant!
