Last day of the first month and all is well. Well, as well as can be! Not much sleep last night – too many thoughts and things I need to do, swirling around in my head. Caro pops over to bring me my post – I’m twitchy and tired but try not to let it show. After all she is very kind and thoughtful.
Goodwood in the afternoon – I end up doing two tours of two people each. I find this almost harder work than large groups. Home for a couple of hours before I venture out in the pouring rain again to the Lavant History meeting. All interesting but not really relevant to me as it was all about the village school and who remembered who!
During the evening I’d been a bit stirred up by Bev who wanted to know how much money there was in the Halifax Executor Account. That was perfectly fine – but I then started to ponder how much should be there and what I was going to do about IHT and how to go about backtracking the completed forms. Another very late night, though at least I did sleep.
