Archangel

Although this plant is of the dead-nettle family – it is beautifully formed and is very attractive to bees, who enticed to follow a crimson line deep into each hood where they can drink the nectar and deposit pollen at the same time. 

Apparently it is edible and the leaves and young tops can be used to decorate of salads!
