Bird’s Foot Trefoil

This little flower is also called eggs and bacon. There are far more eggs than bacon at the FY! The grass is now interwoven with a mat of it, but on the meadow patch it is growing quite tall, forced up to find light by the grasses, ox-eye daisies and sorrel. 

I have now found out that bee-keepers often encourage its growth as it is one of the bees favourite go-to plants! Plus it goes on flowering for many months
