David Parr House is a terraced property in Cambridge. It has recently opened to the public following renovation. It is a step back in time to the world of the Arts and Crafts movement of the late 19th century. David Parr was a specialist decorator and worked for the likes of William Morris. He liked to practise techniques and try out new ideas in his own house. His grandaughter, who lived in the house until her death well into her 90s, kept everything just as Parr had created. I just love this sign hanging in his sitting room!
