The Lavant History Group – or more correctly James McInnes – has been spending a lot of time analysing the route of the Devil’s Ditch – in particular what we can still see of it to the east of Lavant. This little section is clearly marked on the OS map and it lies along the northern boundary of Redvins Copse. This photo doesn’t really do it justice as it is clearly a ditch. The copse is an area of ancient woodland on the Goodwood Estate.
