Dog’s Mercury

I have finally bothered to find out what the flowers of this carpet of greenery in woodland is called! Dog’s Mercury…. And every part of it is certainly is poisonous. What it does indicate though, is that where you see it, is indicative of an ancient woodland and usually there are lots of more interesting woodland flowers nearby.
