After our discussion with Nick and Liz Sturt, we have decided that we need to take small steps towards allowing the whole of the graveyard to become managed wildflowers and grasses. And even then we will probably still have strips and pathways mown through it to keep some order to the area for visitors. We really don’t want people to think that the graveyard looks neglected.

So we are considering allowing the area to the north and east to remain uncut. This part does not support thick and dense grass anyway and we hope to plant cowslips and primroses close to the yew tree. By doing this we can encourage the school to become involved too.
