This large plant is growing in clumps beside my pond. It’s is not particularly attractive, but then I don’t suppose I’d look very nice hanging by a rather dank green pond for months on end! The flowers go on for months and end up looking rather grimy.
Its name is more than a little misleading as it has nothing to do with hemp or agrimony.
However, it does have one thing going for it as it is full of nectar attracting many butterflies and other insects.
