Red Campion

This recent spell of bright, dry and warm weather has kickstarted springin the wildflower world. I can’t really remember when I saw Red Campion so early in the year. It was only a very few weeks ago that I cleared the back fence of all dead grasses and woody bits and now the regrowth is splendid! It thrives on chalk lands!
