Two alarms on! Even though I don’t have to get up very early I can’t lounge around as I am off to St Nic’s graveyard to do some raking. Probably not the best activity for my crocked arm, but I don’t want to look like a wuss so I stupidly continue. We achieve a lot in a couple of hours before the rain sets in for the rest of the day. I empty the large bags of grass bits over the fence in the hope that it may suppress the stingers. Again the rest of the day was playing catch up with emails, calls, washing and shopping. Having read Liv’s book Turning the Tide on Plastics on the flights home has galvanised me into making a more concerted effort to avoid packaged goods. Makes shopping very interesting… I must make sure I keep a few storage boxes in the car as it is not very easy to buy cheese etc without anything to put it in! I must start researching places to buy loose goods – though I admit I didn’t go to the refill shop in Chi because I was half way into town when I realised I didn’t have any containers.. silly me!

I try to relax in the evening as I know I have a lot to get done on Sunday!
