I have loads of this in my garden, just springing back into life after finally throwing off the fruits that have lasted all winter. Of course I’m referring to Old Man’s Beard. I always bring some in at Christmas but it doesn’t last very long…
But in spring it is lovely to see these green tendrils covering barbed wire along pathways.
The cultivated version of this plant is Clematis and is smothering houses and gardens at this time of year.
