The Shepherd’s Church

This little church, dedicated to St Andrew is almost entirely Early English, dating to the early part of the 13th century. It is set aside from the village and nestles almost in the lee of the north side of the South Downs. It would have been used by the local shepherds who would live out amongst the sheep almost all year round.
